Hammersmith.la is a custom furniture production studio in Los Angeles.

We work with designers, contractors and homeowners to build bespoke furniture that suits your unique needs and style.

Whether it's an heirloom-quality piece or a budget-conscious, highly functional item, we build everything with the same care, attention to detail, and meticulous craft.

We make cabinetry, kitchen islands, dining tables, desks, bookshelves, sideboards, vanities, pantries, credenzas, media centers, coffee tables, nightstands, beds, doors, and millwork. We design in close collaboration with our clients to ensure that the final piece is the perfect piece.

Our Process

Collaborate

Whether it's a complete custom kitchen or a single piece of furniture, our first step is to meet with you (preferably in person, but we're happy to do it virtually). We'll discuss what you're looking for, look over any plans you have or style references you like, and we'll discuss some options. We'll also take some site measurements and photographs to help us in the design process.

Design & Budget

Once we've worked together to identify a budget range, we'll start designing from scratch or we'll create shop drawings based on your existing plans. We'll then supply you with custom design renderings and elevations. If we're handling the finishing as well, we'll also supply you at this point with 12" x 12" samples of your finish options, on the same wood species as the finished piece.

Build & Install

When you're completely happy with the design, we'll build the piece (or pieces) by hand in our shop in Los Angeles. If the project involves installation, we'll schedule that with you, and we'll make it as quick and painless as possible. If it's a standalone piece, our white glove delivery service will take care of you.
